Push Through the Door; It’s Open
Let the beauty of what you love be what you do. ~Rumi
Rumi, such a beautiful mastermind and poet of his time. I love reading his works because there is always something that resonates with me, has meaning for me, or helps me most when I need that little pick-me-up. This quote represents my life in many ways, but really represents my current position in life as a homeopath and healer. The beauty of what I love is homeopathy, and sure enough it is exactly why I put all my time and efforts into it.
It took me a while to really figure out my passions; to even have the confidence and drive to pursue them was an entirely other concern. I think when I finally confronted my fears, pushed through the door of uncertainty, and created a life that is completely worth living, I cannot help but to truly ‘be’ my passions and love.
The meaning behind this quote is what I try to teach my patients. To figure out what they truly love to do, whatever that may be, and to go for it. Doing something you love energetically changes your entire constitution, helping you heal and grow. So, if part of the healing process is tapping into that, and being that very thing that matters to you, then there is no other choice. It has to be done, or a person’s completion in healing will never be fully reached. I try to inspire my patients to grab that passion and go for it. As a homeopath and reiki healer I am merely the instructor, gently guiding my patients towards health. My patients are the true masters, for they have the power to conquer all.
