Coming Home.
Welcome to Scorpio season. During this time of year, the veil begins to thin, and our Ancestors have the opportunity to walk the Earthly plain with more ease. If you’d like visitors, now is the time to start preparing your home for their arrival.
Be the lighthouse for their arrival by telling stories, placing pictures on your altar, or lighting a candle and keeping it in your window for safe passage from the other side. The more you speak or think of your past loved ones, the easier it to cross the threshold between worlds. The key to this doorway is trust. Trust that the presence or knowing that you are receiving from your past loved one is real. It is valid, and they are guiding you towards your highest good.
If you were waiting on approval or permission from your ancestors, they would assist in the right decision towards your highest good. Know that free will still plays a key role here, and if you should decide that an opportunity or feeling doesn’t warrant a response, then let it pass. Only direct your focus on area’s that make your heart feel fully open to receive. In turn, you become the lighthouse for your ancestors and yourself.
Witch Tip: Send messages to your past loved ones before their arrival. You will need an apple, writing utensils, a candle, and honey. Local honey and beeswax candles are the best to use for this ritual, but you can also use what you have on hand. As you light your candle cast a loving intention that only that which serves your highest good can enter your space. In front of the candle, write a message to your past loved one. Core your apple, cutting the ends of the cores so that you can place them back in, like a pumpkin. Place the letter in the middle of the apple and place the bottom half of the core back in. Now thinking only the most loving intentions about your ancestors, pouring honey around your note. Add the top half of the apple core back in place, and seal with more honey if you’d like. Go outside with your apple and candle, then dig a small hole and place the apple inside. As you cover with dirt, visualize your ancestors receiving their sweet message. If you are able, allow your candle to thoroughly burn or snuff it out once you have finished the ritual.
