Welcome the Vernal Equinox or Ostara. On this day on March 20th, there will be equal parts light and dark, offering the opportunity to weigh your options with almost perfect balance.

If you have yet to make your intention for this lunar cycle or the coming spring months, I would suggest taking the time this coming weekend to not just lay intentions but the beginning of an action plan as well. The pace of the world will start to pick up, leaving little time to be making things up on the fly. You don’t need to have all the answers, but there is no reason why a rough draft can’t be planned and adjusted in real-time.

As your hopping about this week, take notice of the signs of Spring. Have any rabbits caught your eye? Rabbits are good luck, fertile and legends say where there are rabbits, prosperity is sure to follow. Rightfully so as the wild depends on the rabbit for its life cycle. It multiplies quickly because it knows so many species depend on them and their promise of rebirth.

This week to help you prepare for the hustle and bustle of the Earth waking, call on the rabbit to access your sacral chakra, aiding in your creative plans.

Witch Tip: Buy or make small chocolate rabbits. Place them on your altar overnight or for a few hours. Store in a cool, dry place. Whenever you feel you need a burst of energy or prosperity, pull out a small chocolate rabbit, thank it and eat it. Chocolate activates our sacral chakra, helping with the creative mood. You can do this at any time during the year, but its magick is most powerful now.
