The Perfect Day

 In Writer in Residence

Written by: Collette Cottingham; Anontropolis

I decided to let my emotions lead the way. I set aside my organized “to do” outline. I felt a little nervous. Could I get everything done without my outline?

You sure bet I did. My emotions guided me. Not only did I get everything done I even got extra stuff done. Pencil in some great conversations and it was a magnificent day.

I understand emotions can be a roller coaster. I spent years working on my emotions, and in the end I found me. Emotions are a part of who I am. I paired my emotions with my intuition and created the perfect balance for me.

At the end of the day I felt renewed and energized. Do I dare say it was a perfect day? I tapped into my whole self – the core of who I am. I realize I am a happy strong woman. I am at peace, no matter the chaos.

My emotions are in check and spot on. I am inspired. I am creative. I am imaginative. I am ready to write about a magical story.
