Feel the Yes

What do you hold back on? Is it that delicious dessert or that trinket for your garden? Or is it that deep down desire to do or be something different? No, Yes. Both very powerful words. No stops creation and Yes gives birth to it.

What’s your YES? What is your inner child gently whispering in your heart? What is causing your restlessness? Chances are you already know what you want. Your body tells you. Are you exhausted, sick, lost? You are swimming upstream? You are resisting your yes. Your ego and No are BFFs and are clouding your vision and your ability to act on the nudge from within to do something.

There are times for a no. Like that second glass of wine or that overextending yourself to help the “friend” who only calls when they need something and conveniently isn’t around when you are in need. But when no is based on fear, when no is based on keeping you stuck in a place, situation or relationship that you know in your heart of hearts isn’t good for you, when no keeps you from growing, it’s time to pull out the power of Yes. Is it scary to say yes? Of course it is. Saying yes to something new means leaving the familiar, leaving comfortable, even if comfortable is making you miserable. Is saying Yes worth it? 100% ! When yes comes from that little voice inside you, it will not steer you wrong.
