Down the Rabbit Hole

I went down a rabbit hole today. We all find our way into the rabbit hole from time to time. My desire to know more pushes me to go further. I ask questions and the exploration begins.

My exploration leads to more questions that need to be answered, and I begin a quest to answer these questions. Before long I am lost asking myself: “what started all this?”

I am a long distance from my original question, hence the rabbit hole. The experiences along the way guide me to higher knowledge. A book is put before me, I over hear a conversation, or I am placed on a path that guides me to a life lesson.

I find what I need will appear or the right person appear. When it comes to self-inspired and experiential education, the possibilities are endless.

I feel this way about my writing, too. When exploring one topic I pull myself into a rabbit hole. I find the course of my writing might change entirely to a different topic – all because I fell upon something new that inspired me more.
