Weekly Discussion Summary: Your Place in You

It’s wonderful to have the honour of summarizing this particular discussion. It’s been so interesting! Not only do we know more about each of us, but we know more about ourselves too. That was definitely the intention for this week’s discussion. Nailed it!

I read a quote today by Natalie Portman:

“When you get older, you realise it’s a lot less about your place in the world but your place in you. It’s not how everyone views you, but how you view yourself.”

That is definitely the theme for the week, whether viewing ourselves from a past or present perspective. (Interesting to note suddenly that we did not include at all any discussion about our futures… hmmm… interesting!)

Who we are not only engages those around us, but engages us too.
