Labour of Love
I definitely do what I do to be able to take time for myself and my family as needed.
Some days I work more and have little time for fun but overall, working from home leaves me the flexibility to get things done anytime. This way, I don’t miss out on class field trips, appointments, last minute skating on Lake Windermere, or a day in the mountains to recharge. Sometimes it means that I have to work early mornings and late nights, but it is worth it to be able to take off and spend the a bluebird day above the clouds with my hubby. That’s what lights my fire: being the only souls in sight with my snowboard and my man, relying on no one but ourselves to get to our destination. I can’t wait to be able to share that feeling with my children as they get older.
Right now, as a matter of fact, I am packing some snacks, and heading out to the ice on Lake Windermere. The ice is perfect and my Momma wants to meet me for a skate!
Family. This is why I do what I do. This reward fills my heart.
