Discussion Topic for the Week of Oct. 10 – Your Definition of Abundance
Happy Thanksgiving Ladies!
It was Thanksgiving in Canada this past weekend, and we hope you had a fabulous holiday. It was a beautiful weekend, full of friends, family, and incredible food. It is that special time of the year when we easily connect to our natural gratitude for what we have and who we are.
We are always abundant.
But let’s be honest, our regular social and media input, does not reflect this natural fact. Every day we are bombarded with images and conversations that encourage us to want and think we need more. Over the next couple of weeks, as we are coming to this incredible time of year that is “harvest”, let’s challenge together, with real examples from our real lives, this concept of abundance vs. lack.
This is important because it not only affects our experience of certainty and comfort in our material lives, it also has a great impact on our experience of confidence in ourselves. Are we enough if we do not have enough? This conversation will move us towards aligning those feelings of having enough and being enough.
So, this week, keep it simple. Start with your definition of abundance. Take this time to look into the exchange you have with life. Abundance is definitely money, but it is not just money alone.
What is your definition of abundance?
What does this definition include? Do you work so you can have time with your children? Do you work so you can have chunks of free time? Do you work so you can have great shoes? Do you work so you can afford to travel?
If you think of your life, in its totality, as a garden, what are you harvesting?
You are abundant, that’s a natural fact. As always, enjoy this exploration – especially this exploration.
You are enough. How does your universe reflect that?
