Discussion Topic for the Week of Aug. 22 – Do One Thing Everyday That Scares You
Hi Ladies!
This should be a fun week! The idea here is to combine the work and experience of the last few weeks – winning at where you’re at!
The challenge comes all the way to us from Eleanor Roosevelt: Do one thing everyday that scares you.
This is not only a fantastic quote and philosophy, it is a fantastic practice. In essence, you are creating deeply rooted accomplishment and success. This builds confidence, certainty, and can also rewire some of those “trauma” neuropathways as It directly connects fear and stress to a success.
That said, it is not important to “win” at the things you choose to scare yourself with, but it is important to engage in a practice where the accomplishment is bigger than the fear. This is “actualisation”. When it is defined into this very tight and conscious container, the ripple out into your own life can be profound.
Share on the site the things that you dared yourself to actually do. And yes, the invitation is definitely to do something daily.
Share on the call something you were afraid to accomplish with regards to your vision. Bonus if you actually crossed that off of your list.
Enjoy this practice. It’s a really fun way to accelerate not only your success but your satisfaction with life.
