Bio:
Hello! My name is Amber. I grew up in Manitoba but with a great love for the mountains and outdoors I moved to Invermere BC at the age of 18. I have a wonderful supportive husband and two children. My son and daughter also share a love for nature and the outdoors and are natural healers.
I have own a dog boarding, daycare and training facility; I have been open since 2002. I have had a very strong connection with animals since the day I was born. I also run a Guardian Angel Program that provides temporary emergency foster care for pets whose families are in life transition like victims of violence, disaster relief, and temporary medical respite. The goal is to reunite each pet with its family once they have the opportunity to find a more permanent and effective means to care for themselves.
I believe that having pets in our lives makes us happier and healthier. I have fostered, re-homed and rehabilitated over 500 animals. I have always had many animals including horses. I teach people how important animals are in our lives and their magnificent ability to help us heal.
I get the most joy out of helping people see the world as a beautiful place.
Why did you join Consciously Woman?
I joined this group to be supported and also support other women who want to make the most out of this life in the most positive way possible. I can’t wait to learn from each of you. We all have such amazing gifts to share. I believe that by each of us doing what we love and sharing together we can transform the lives of others as well.
What is your vision?
My Vision is to help people create an empowered and enjoyable relationship with their pets through my business and my online dog training community.
I want to be able to support dog owners to positively influence their dog’s behaviour and have confident, well socialized and well mannered members of the family.
By educating the owners of these dogs more people will safely be able to feel the love and healing that a well adjusted dog can bring in to the home.
